Melike (Mel) DeGregorio

Mel DeGregorio has been in EHS industry since 2000. 
She is a Chemical Engineer with a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, and a special concentration in EHS.

 
Mel is an Exemplar Global certified  Lead Auditor, and she conducts third party registration/certification audits of quality and EHS management systems. She is a lead auditor for ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 9001:2015, R2:2013 and EHS regulatory compliance audits.

Some of Mel's previous roles include:

•    Environmental/Applications Engineer at Techarmonic in CA
•    Environmental Coordinator/Operations Resource at Frito-Lay, in PA
•    Air Pollution Control Engineer at Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, Air Quality Division
•   Corporate EHS Manager for a Tyco International facility in MA where she was responsible for ten manufacturing & distribution sites throughout the USA and in Canada.

She conducted numerous regulatory compliance and management systems audits in the USA and globally. Global exposure, involvement with a huge variety of industries and experience in the EHS world as a consultant, an auditor, a trainer, a corporate EHS manager and as a regulator led to an extensive amount of knowledge, which she enjoys sharing with her clients since the birth of GreenUp Consultants in December 2008.
